We had a good stay at this quiet hotel. The staff were courteous and superfriendly day and night. Had brand-new, large room with refrigerator and leaky windows, for instance. The breakfast was exceptionally nice and offered good choice of options. Everything was simply perfect.

Decent sized and brand-new room, really good stay!
Location just off a pizza restaurant and a good breakfast and the river and multiple outdoor activities from kayaking to skiing. Good breakfast with a lot of great food.

the Northern Comfort Inn in Olafsfjordur is a very good budget hotel. the rooms are neat and clean. 3. the staff is caring and attentive. 4. the units offer fantastic views. 5. the location is absolutely perfect, just a 10-15 minute walk from Olafsfjordur harbor.

northern comfort inn in olafsfjordur exceeded our expectations during this celebrations. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with cold water and a cozy blanket. the hotel was clean, beds comfortable, and the view from the window was enjoyable. we loved the free coffee and tea in the nice dining area.
No microwave in the room.

This hotel was a great find in a remote part of Iceland. I was amazed by the location right on the edge of a beautiful lake. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with a large variety of options. I also appreciated the free coffee and tea available at any time.

The cabins are well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and even a hot tub on the front porch.
The bathroom in one of the cabins lacked a dedicated shower cabin, which might not be ideal for some guests.
